Push to Walk Receives Grant from Investors Foundation for Scholarship Fund
Oakland, NJ- Push to Walk, a local nonprofit that provides specialized workouts to individuals living with paralysis, recently received a grant from Investors Foundation.
Push to Walk recently received a $500 grant from Investors Foundation. The grant will help further the organization’s mission of providing individualized workouts and resources to optimize current quality of life to people with spinal cord injuries and other forms of paralysis through its Client Scholarship Fund. Push to Walk strongly believes that its services should be accessible to all who are motivated to join and offers scholarship opportunities to those with financial need.
Push to Walk is unable to cover all of its operating costs through client fees but relies on grants and fundraising events to help make up the difference. “Our staff, board, and clients are grateful for the continued generosity and support of Investors Foundation and are thrilled to build on this relationship. Our clients come to us because they see an improvement and foundations such as Investors allows us to keep those fees affordable so cost doesn’t stand in the way of them achieving their goals,” says Executive Director, Vivian Kiggins.
