Push to Walk kicked off the night with client demos showcasing training techniques using the Ekso NR and Indego robotics used in PTW’s robotics program. The audience was visibly in awe as they watched these robots transform and ignite mobility. Clients took over 1,500 steps in the robot that night!
A PTW client also demonstrated the new Solo Step Overhead Harness System, which was funded by the Bolger Foundation and used to help clients with balance and gait throughout their workout.
In addition to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Mayor Ghassali presented PTW with a Montvale Borough proclamation. The organization also received a certificate of recognition from U.S. House of Representative Josh Gottheimer, and a certificate of commendation from Bergen County Commissioner Tom Sullivan and County Executive James Tedesco.
