Push to Walk to Host Charity Beefsteak Fundraiser
Riverdale, NJ – Push to Walk, a non-profit organization that provides individualized workouts and resources to people with spinal cord injuries and other forms of paralysis, will host their first ever Charity Beefsteak Fundraiser.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 21st, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Pompton Lakes Elks Lodge. The lodge is located at 1 Perrin Avenue, Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442. Ticket price is $50 per person and can be purchased by calling the Push to Walk office at 862-200-5976 or via e-mail at slajam@pushtowalknj.org. The evening will include great food catered by Nightingale’s, beverages and 50/50 raffle. All are welcome to attend.
Push to Walk is only able to cover about 65% of operating costs through client fees, and relies largely on special events and generous donations to raise funds. Our beefsteak fundraiser is a great opportunity to gather our clients, friends, supporters, and anyone who would like to join us, for an evening dedicated to raising these funds which directly impact our clients. As we continue to grow as an organization, we are always looking for new ways to bring old faces and new faces together, and we believe a social event is a great opportunity.
“We are very excited to gather our supporters at the start of the holiday season with our first ever Beefsteak Fundraiser.” said Cynthia Templeton, President of Push to Walk. “The funds we raise through events are what allow us to keep our doors open and to continue to help the spinal cord injury and paralysis community.”
Donation opportunities are available on the Push to Walk website: www.pushtowalknj.org.
